Privacy information for EntryCheck

EntryCheck is a Mac app for checking and managing tickets through the KORONA Entry connection configured by the user. These notices distinguish processing in the app from processing by the operator of that connection.

Translation notice

This English translation is provided for convenience. If there are any discrepancies, the German version is authoritative.

1. Provider and responsibilities

The app provider is Fabian Andres Pablo Amos, trading as AmoSystems, Christburger Straße 15-2, 10405 Berlin, Germany. Contact: info@fabianamos.com; telephone: +49 30 442 54 22.

AmoSystems operates no ticket-data server and does not receive ticket data from the app. The operator of your configured KORONA connection is responsible for the purposes, permissions, legal basis and retention of its business ticket data. Direct questions about that data to the operator. AmoSystems is responsible for personal data you provide when contacting AmoSystems.

2. Data processed

EntryCheck processes ticket numbers entered or imported from a selected file, together with usage, validity and lock information returned by KORONA. Ticket numbers and free-text notes may be personal data if they can be associated with an order or person.

An optional order reference and reason for a change are used for the local activity log. These notes are not transmitted to KORONA or AmoSystems. The app does not search for orders in a shop system.

3. Credentials and direct HTTPS connections

When saved, the server address, API username, password and connection settings are stored in the macOS Keychain. An optionally imported ENV file is read as data, never executed, and remains in its original location.

For ticket checks and changes, EntryCheck connects directly over HTTPS to the configured KORONA Entry API. It sends the ticket numbers, credentials, technical connection information needed for the request and, for changes, the requested lock state. The server also receives technically necessary connection data such as the IP address. “Verbindung prüfen” also makes an authenticated read request.

The recipient is the operator or hosting provider of your configured KORONA connection. Server location, further recipients, retention and possible transfers outside the European Economic Area depend on that operator’s setup and privacy notices. EntryCheck uses no AmoSystems intermediary server.

4. Local storage, exports and deletion

Inputs and check results are processed in memory during the session. The activity log stores ticket numbers, timestamps, actions, results, confirmation status and optional order references and reasons locally on this Mac. Credentials are not stored in the activity log. It is a local working log, not a central or tamper-proof archive.

The log remains until deleted under “Aktivitäten”. Saved credentials can be removed under “Verbindung verwalten”. Deleting the app alone does not reliably replace these steps, especially for Keychain items and external files.

CSV exports are saved only when you choose to export, to a location you select. Exported CSV files and the original ENV file are unaffected by deleting the activity log or connection and must be deleted separately if required. Cloud folders, sharing and backups you choose are governed by the relevant service settings and terms. EntryCheck has no cloud-sync service of its own.

5. Sample tickets, advertising and diagnostics

“Mit Beispieltickets ausprobieren” uses simulated ticket data. Demo checks and changes stay in memory; demo activities are labelled in the local log. The demo does not query a real KORONA server.

EntryCheck contains no advertising, telemetry, analytics, tracking or embedded crash-reporting services. The app sends no ticket data or automatic usage reports to AmoSystems. Apple may process macOS or App Store diagnostics you choose to share according to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy terms.

6. Website, App Store and voluntary contact

Web links open the default browser; email links open your email application. The destination provider’s privacy notices apply. Our general privacy information also covers amosystems.org and the handling and retention of voluntary support enquiries: https://amosystems.org/en/privacy/.

If obtained through the Mac App Store, Apple processes download, account and payment data under its own terms. EntryCheck has no payment processing of its own and receives no payment data through the app. Apple privacy information: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Please do not send passwords, ENV files, complete ticket lists or unnecessary personal information to support. Use sample data to explain a problem where possible.

7. Your rights

Where AmoSystems processes personal data, for example when you contact us, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing, subject to the legal conditions. Contact info@fabianamos.com. Our general privacy information explains contact processing and its legal bases.

You may complain to a data-protection authority, such as the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: https://www.datenschutz-berlin.de/buergerinnen-und-buerger/beschwerde/. To exercise rights concerning ticket data held by your KORONA operator, contact that operator.
