App privacy
Privacy policy for Pelvic Presence
Pelvic Presence 1.7 generally processes training, profile and exact cycle information on the device. Only the optional partner mode uses Apple iCloud and transmits deliberately selected, reduced signals. AmoSystems operates no proprietary server for this feature and uses no advertising, tracking or analytics services.
This English translation is provided for convenience. If there are any discrepancies, the German version is authoritative.

2. Scope and core principle
This policy describes the published feature set of Pelvic Presence. The review date is 20 August 2026.
No AmoSystems account is required. The app does not ask for a name, email address, diagnosis or free text. Core functionality works without an internet connection. The app itself establishes an online connection only for the optional private partner connection through Apple CloudKit. If the user sends a prepared message through the iOS share sheet or opens email support, content is passed to the chosen service only after the user selects it.
3. Data processed only on the device
Depending on how the app is used, it stores:
- profile and personalisation: selected goals, topic interests, training rhythm and onboarding status;
- training and progress: type and number of completed practices, read knowledge tips, local achievements and completed, partial or missed sessions;
- weekly plan and reminders: training days, plan start, time and status of optional local reminders;
- optional exact cycle information: source date, typical cycle and period length, an optional broad age band and the setting that controls whether a general phase label may be shared;
- partner preferences: activation status, deliberately selected support signal and its chosen duration;
- search: terms entered in the knowledge search are used only for temporary local filtering and are not stored permanently;
- local technical information: identifiers and state for a configured CloudKit share, a local cache of received partner signals and counters for the system App Store review prompt.
This information is used only for the functions selected in the app. AmoSystems does not receive it. Calendar history is kept for no more than 730 days. Other local settings and progress remain until changed or the app is removed. A support signal is visible for one hour, four hours or one day and can be cleared early.
4. Optional partner connection through Apple CloudKit
The partner connection is configured only when the user enables it and sends or accepts a private iCloud share. Each channel is limited to one invited person. For a reciprocal connection, each person sets up their own channel, to which the other person has read-only access.
Only the following values are stored in encrypted CloudKit fields:
- for the cycle bloom: visibility state, general phase, abstract bloom value, phase-label sharing preference and update timestamp;
- for the support signal: selected category, start, expiry, label-display preference, visibility state and update timestamp;
- for the connection: CloudKit share and record identifiers together with invitation and acceptance state.
The source date, exact cycle day, cycle or period lengths, optional age band, training history, profile goals and topic interests are not transmitted. The app uses no proprietary server. Recipients are Apple as the iCloud/CloudKit provider and the person invited by the user. The app does not read the invited person’s name or contact details; it checks only the number and status of CloudKit participants.
CloudKit background notifications contain no partner signals; they only wake the app so it can fetch the private record again. After a support signal expires or is cleared, its content fields are neutralised at the next synchronisation. The share records remain until the partner connection is disconnected.
Technical information about encrypted CloudKit fields is available in Apple’s CloudKit documentation ↗. Apple describes iCloud encryption in its iCloud data security overview ↗.
5. Notifications and device permissions
If requested, Pelvic Presence schedules local weekly reminders with an alert and sound. The app asks for notification permission for this purpose. Reminders can be changed or disabled in the app or system settings. CloudKit may also use silent background notifications for changes in a configured partner share.
The app does not use the microphone, speech recognition, camera, photo library, location, Bluetooth, local network, contacts, calendars or HealthKit.
6. Advertising, analytics, diagnostics and third parties
Pelvic Presence contains no third-party SDKs and uses no advertising, tracking, usage analytics or proprietary crash-reporting service. Only Apple system frameworks are integrated. AmoSystems receives no automatic usage or diagnostic data from the app.
Depending on device, App Store, diagnostic and iCloud settings, Apple may process its own connection, diagnostic, purchase or account data. Apple’s terms and privacy information apply to that processing. Local app data may also form part of a device or iCloud backup depending on the user’s settings.
The user may optionally send a general partner message prepared by the app through the iOS share sheet. The user alone chooses its content, recipient and delivery service. The app does not store or transmit that message itself.
7. Apple “App Privacy” information
The public App Store listing states “Data Not Collected”. This is Apple’s product label and reflects that no data is collected by AmoSystems or integrated third parties. It does not mean that no data is processed on the device: Pelvic Presence stores the personal settings described above locally and, after voluntary configuration, can synchronise simplified signals through Apple CloudKit with an invited person.
8. Deletion and withdrawal of settings
The current support signal can be cleared early in the app. A partner connection can be disconnected there; the app removes local connection references and access to received shares and attempts to delete the user’s own CloudKit share. Local profile, cycle and training data remain unchanged.
Uninstalling the app removes its local data from the device. Data in existing device or iCloud backups is governed by the settings and retention periods of the relevant Apple Account. Notification permission can be withdrawn at any time in iOS or iPadOS settings.
9. Health context and audience
Pelvic Presence is intended for adults as a general wellness and training aid and is not intended for Apple’s Kids Category. It does not diagnose or monitor bodily signals and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you experience discomfort or are unsure, stop training and seek medical or physiotherapy advice.
10. Contact, support and your rights
The app itself does not transmit a support request. Anyone who contacts Pelvic Presence support by email should not send health data. Information about the processing and retention of contact enquiries is available in the website privacy information.
Where AmoSystems processes personal data in connection with an enquiry, data subjects may, subject to statutory requirements, request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
